Clarke and Asimov were among the first Science fiction writers I ever read, And I bet they were yours too. Although most obits are referencing 2001, his output of masterpieces over the decades was phenomenal. I still remember the first time I read Childhood’s End, A Fall of Moondust and Rendevous with Rama.

Besides that, he is also remembered as developing the idea of a worldwide network of communication satellites, making all out lives, not just more enjoyable, but better.

He will be missed.
